Established in 1989 Relay has been providing engineering solutions to industry for over 35 years. Today Relay employs over 300 personnel and is an integral part of the larger Denholm Energy Services Group with operations in the UK and Middle East.
We provide a wide spectrum of engineering services, including mechanical, electrical and constructive engineering, inspection, rope access and compressed air services to the defence, marine, energy and other industrial sectors. Relay is an approved supplier of several major defence contractors, and maintains a range of other distinctive and diverse clients.
Our diverse capabilities and well-qualified people enable us be a preferred supplier to a number of major contractors. Our people significantly contribute to our success. We have a flexible and multi-skilled teams, allowing rapid deployment worldwide. We have ability to mobilise teams on a scheduled or rapid deployment basis to any location in the world, be it onshore, offshore, or at sea.
We are proud to support the Royal Navy in maintaining their operational capability. We deliver electrical, mechanical and fabrication works on their fleet ships and submarines during refit and repair periods wherever they are the world; we also work on systems and new installations meeting exacting QA and safety requirements. We support RN dockyards on planned maintenance and upgrades on their infrastructure projects.

Relay supports all the major shipyards in the UK and has overseas operations in the Middle East.
In the South and West England, we have offices and workshops located in Plymouth, Portsmouth, Falmouth and Avonmouth where we are ideally located to support the defence and marine sectors; and our operations in Aberdeen are in the centre of the energy industry.
Our operational facilities in the Middle East are strategically located in or near shipyards, enabling us to provide core services to our Middle East clients.
